Instructional Videos: How to Create your Online Environment within iKamva from any Geographical Location

The Centre for Innovative Education and Communication Technology (CIECT) has created instructional videos to assist with the development of your online modules. You are able to create your online modules and set up assessment tasks at your own pace, from any geographical location.

The material has been structured into the following categories:

  • Content Development (sharing resources, structure online lessons),
  • Communication (setup discussion forum and calendar events, send announcements),
  • eAssessment (setup tests and quizzes, assignments).
A screencast is a video recording with audio. You are able to record a digital screen (i.e. lecture, PowerPoint presentation, calculations) – making use of specific software.
