Social Work Programme: Formative Individual Vodcast and Group Assessments

In collaboration with CIECT, Lecturer Violet Adonis developed an interactive online learning environment for the Social Work Foundation Phase Programme (SCW 010). Designed using CIECT's standardised template, the module site provides easy access to course material, learning activities and assessments, while its structured design supports an organised and engaging learning experience.
Weekly Lessons aligned with Pre-class readings
Weekly learning activities are organised into lesson pages, with each topic clearly aligned to its intended learning outcomes. Pre-class readings are provided to help students familiarise themselves with the weekly content and expectations before engaging with the lessons.

Formative Assessments: Individual Vodcast and Group Presentation
The assessments included both a group assignment and an individual assignment, submitted through the Assignment eTool. As part of the individual assessment, students were required to upload a vodcast which is a short video presentation incorporating visual elements.
Final Examination: Using a Variety of Question Types
The final examination was administered using the Tests & Quizzes eTool and entailed three sections, featuring a variety of question types, including multiple-choice and short-answer questions.
