Lecturer Training: How to use the Document Cameras/Visualisers

The CIECT (AVS) team is offering training to lecturers on how to facilitate Hybrid Teaching using Visualisers in the classroom/teaching venues.

Hybrid Teaching combines face-to-face and online teaching into one cohesive experience. A percentage of the class sessions are on-campus, while the other students tune in / work online.

On completion of this training session, participants should be able to:
  • Integrate a Document Camera / Visualizer with Google meet or Zoom platforms to stream a lesson to students in remote locations.
  • Use the Document Camera / Visualizer to project objects.
  • Use the Document Camera / Visualizer software to annotate during live video sessions.

**Hybrid Teaching Booking requests - can be made via the UWC Service desk at servicedesk@uwc.ac.za
