Lecturer, Kerry Frizelle uses the iKamva platform to share resources and guide students on formative and summative assessments (Child Development and Learning, EDC 311).

Formative Assessment: Essay Submission [Developmental Approach]
An essay was structured online and students needed to download resources in order to complete the assessment. The lecturer marked and provided feedback. Students were able to resubmit in cases where the lecturer identified the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI).  This provided an opportunity for the students to improve their writing and grades.
Sit Down Exam: Preparation Resources
Students received examination resources via the Course Resources eTool. This included lecture presentations, readings and exam scaffolding techniques.

Scope of Summative Examination: Shared via Announcement eTool (Case Study and MCQs)
The lecturer used the Announcement eTool to inform students of class related matters as well as details and scope of the examination (a case study and multiple choice questions, MCQs).
